I am a native bilingual speaker of Spanish and English. I offer tutoring in Spanish at all levels, and English as a Foreign Language at all levels. I also offer tutoring in high school level French (French levels 1-4, and preparation for AP French). SPANISH: I offer tutoring and translating services in Spanish, and will accommodate to meet your personal needs and current level, whether it is academic Spanish, basic conversation practice, phonetic and pronunciation, background in Latin-American culture, or preparation for language examinations. I have experience with the requirements and format of the AP Spanish exam (score of 5), and offer tutoring in preparation for this exam as well. ENGLISH: I have a 160-hour certification to teach English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and offer English tutoring at all levels. Whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced learner, I will create lesson plans that meet your specific needs and goals. I have provided remote online assistance in English to native speakers of Chinese, Arabic, French, Spanish, Japanese and Korean through online exchange programs and worked as an English writing tutor at Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka, Japan. I am familiar with the basic mechanics of several languages including Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and French. For native speakers of these languages, I can provide useful points of comparison to English to maximize comprehension. FRENCH: I offer tutoring in basic French for high school students and AP Exams. I went through all levels of high school French with distinction and passed the AP French exam with high marks. APPROACH: As a learner of foreign languages myself, I understand the needs and the challenges we encounter when tackling a whole new language.
